Visit of Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan – Skardu Development Authority

Worthy Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan along with Commissioner Baltistan, Deputy Commissioner Skardu and Director General, SDA visited various projects running under SDA. The details of projects are:

1- Women Fitness Centre

2- Women Shelter Home

3- Baltistan Local Art School

4- State of the Art IT Based Class Rooms in Women Degree College Skardu

5- Extension of existing Municipal Library

6- Baltistan Tea House

7- Swimming Pool

8- Long Tennis Court

Furthermore, Chief Secretary GB also visited the projects related to Beautification of Skardu City, in which Beautification of Chowks and Green Belts are priority. During his vist CS GB stated that:
“The city will also soon be home to Baltistan Folk and Culture center, which will serve as a bastion of local culture and music.” And directed the SDA Official to complete the projects with in 2-3 months.
Later, Chief Secretary GB inaugurated “Ashraf Brolmo Primary School Brolmo Colony” which was constructed by SDA. He appreciated the efforts of District Administration Skardu and SDA officials along with School staff for timely completion of the project. He also insisted that the School needs a Library and Digital Learning System, and directed the concerned authorities to fulfil the requirement of the School on priority basis.
